A Beautiful Blessing: Leo’s Sacrament of First Holy Communion
This past Saturday, May 3, was a deeply meaningful day for our family as we celebrated my son Leo’s First Holy Communion. The ceremony took place at St. Zachary’s Parish at 11:00 AM, surrounded by faith, love, and tradition.
It was one of those quiet yet powerful milestones that remind you how quickly time passes, and how grateful you are for moments that bring everyone together. I had the honor of attending with my mom, Leo’s Lola, who beamed with pride as she watched her grandson take this important step in his spiritual journey.
Leo looked so grown up and composed in his attire, and I could see in his eyes that he understood the significance of the day. It was touching to witness him receive the Eucharist for the first time, a moment of grace, reverence, and growth.
After the mass, we shared a quiet celebration as a family, filled with laughter, hugs, and plenty of photos to mark the occasion. As a parent, it was one of those moments you tuck away in your heart forever.
Here’s to faith, family, and milestones that fill our lives with purpose.
