Biography:

Alexis P. Conley is an Associate Attorney at Pinay Law whose practice focuses on family law and probate matters. Known for her thoughtful approach, attention to detail, and compassionate advocacy, Alexis helps clients navigate life’s most challenging legal matters with confidence and clarity. She believes that informed clients make empowered decisions and is committed to ensuring every client understands their options and feels supported throughout the legal process.

Alexis earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminal Justice, summa cum laude, from Concordia University in 2018 before earning her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law in 2021. While at DePaul, she also earned a Certificate in Family Law, further solidifying her commitment to helping individuals and families through significant life transitions.

During law school, Alexis gained valuable hands-on experience as a law clerk at Davis Friedman LLP, where she assisted attorneys with a wide range of family law matters. She was actively involved in DePaul’s Child and Family Law Association, ultimately serving as president during her third year. Before graduating, Alexis obtained her Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 license and volunteered with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS), representing clients in divorce matters and strengthening her commitment to expanding access to justice.

Since being admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2021, Alexis has represented clients through every stage of family law and probate proceedings. She has successfully resolved hundreds of matters through negotiated settlements, recognizing that collaborative solutions often provide the best path forward for families. When litigation becomes necessary, Alexis is a confident and dedicated advocate, representing clients in contested hearings and trials while remaining focused on achieving the best possible outcome.

Alexis remains actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Chicago Bar Association, including the Young Lawyers Section Family Law Committee, Domestic Relations Committee, and LGBTQ+ Committee. She is passionate about continuing her professional development while staying engaged with the ever-evolving practice of family law.

Clients appreciate Alexis for her calm demeanor, responsiveness, and meticulous attention to detail. She understands that every family is unique and believes each client deserves personalized guidance, honest communication, and unwavering support.

Outside the office, Alexis embraces creativity in many forms. She enjoys scrapbooking, crocheting, and cross-stitch and is an avid reader with a personal library of more than 460 books and counting. Whether she’s immersed in a novel or working on a new craft project, she enjoys activities that encourage patience, creativity, and lifelong learning.
