From Finalists to Fired Up: What the Reisman Awards Taught Us

It’s official: we didn’t take home the Reisman Award this year. And while we would have loved to bring that recognition home to our team and community, we are walking away from this experience with our heads held high—and our hearts full of gratitude.

The Reisman Awards, hosted by Clio, celebrate law firms that are setting new standards in the legal industry through innovation, client service, and impact. To even be named a finalist among so many exceptional legal professionals across the world was already an honor. Out of thousands of law firms, Pinay Law was one of the few selected to be spotlighted—and that is something we will always be proud of.

Being a finalist has allowed us to reflect on how far we’ve come. It reminded us that our work, especially in serving immigrant, Filipino, and underserved communities, matters. That recognition—just knowing that what we do makes a difference—is a win in itself.

We want to express our deepest thanks to Clio, to the Reisman Award Committee, and most importantly, to you—our clients, supporters, and community members—who champion our work and share in our vision. Your votes, encouragement, and belief in our mission mean the world to us.

While we may not have a trophy on our shelf this time, we’ve gained something just as valuable: renewed inspiration to keep pushing boundaries and improving the way we serve. And as they say—there’s always next time.

We’re not done dreaming, building, or fighting for justice. The journey continues, and we’re glad to have you with us.

With gratitude,

Janice & Pinay Law Team
