A Night of Music and Memories: My Performance at The “Nanghihinayang Jeremiah” Concert
Every now and then, life gives us a chance to step away from the courtroom and into the spotlight — and that’s exactly what I did during the “Nanghihinayang Jeremiah” concert, proudly presented by Direk Gerry Rebello Production, LLC. The event, held on September 19, 2025, at The 19th Century Club in Oak Park, IL, was a spectacular evening filled with music, talent, and community — and I was honored to be part of it as one of the front act guest performers.
I had the absolute joy of performing two iconic songs: Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus and Bad Romance by Lady Gaga. Taking the stage and sharing my love for music with the audience was such a fun and exhilarating experience — and what made it even more special was having my family there to cheer me on. Their support means the world to me, and hearing their applause from the crowd reminded me just how lucky I am to have them by my side.
Music has always been a big part of my life. I grew up playing the piano as a child and continue to play it to this day. It’s a passion that grounds me — a creative outlet that balances the demands of my career as an attorney. Performing on stage reminded me of that deep connection I’ve always had with music and why it continues to bring me so much joy.
For me, moments like this are more than just performances; they’re celebrations of creativity, community, and balance. As much as I love practicing law, music offers a space where I can express myself in a different way — and I believe it’s important to nurture those passions that make us who we are.
If you’d like to see more of my musical side, I occasionally post song covers on Instagram — a fun way for me to share my love of music and take a break from my busy attorney life. 🎶
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the show and to Direk Gerry Rebello Production, LLC for organizing such a memorable event. It was truly an unforgettable night filled with music, laughter, and community.
